Dr. George Adebanjo is the pastor and founder of The Living Word International Church in Nashville, TN. He is a native of Lagos, Nigeria, and after his high school education, traveled to Europe, Canada, and the USA. He received a Stationary Engineer’s license from George Brown College in Toronto, Canada, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN.
In 1994, after eight years of Pastoral ministry, Dr. Adebanjo took a giant step of faith and walked away from a professional career in engineering to pursue the call of God into full-time ministry passionately.
Our Nashville Campus, initially started on the campus of Tennessee State University, Wesley Foundation building. From there we temporarily relocated to the corner of 12th Avenue North and Jefferson Street. Shortly after that, we relocated to the corner of 12th Avenue South and Bate Avenue.
In 2005, the Lord miraculously moved the church to its new spacious sanctuary at 5100 Wyoming Avenue, Nashville, TN 37209. To God be the glory!
